With the "Z" braces fitted and soldered into place, the project is just about finished.
Just about done! All that is left now is some clean-up work around the brace flanges, fitting of the lower tuning slide tube "slug", a good thorough bath, and final assembly. Oh, but I can't forget the finger hook!!! We'll be using an early NY Bach style finger hook.
Here's how it looks so far. If any lines don't look straight, it's because of optical distortion due to the camera's lens as it tends to barrel.
Now let's get ready to cut the short length of tubing that will fit into the lower tuning slide receiver.
